At the time of my diagnosis I was prescribed metformin and over the next 3 years I became miserable. Tired in the afternoon, weight gain, the GI mess was unbearable, I couldn’t even eat fruit anymore. So, I just stopped taking it. Of course, this created unmanaged blood sugars and high A1C. High like 10.9!

So back to the Doctor. Given a new pill. It worked great…for a while, higher dose recommended of course. Insulin was suggested. I politely declined. For months and months I was obsessed with reading everything about how T2D works in the body, every trick, supplement, webinar, and then crying every morning when it was still 200.

Then one day when I was standing in my room staring at more supplements, I had my moment of truth! I literally said out loud, “What the hell am I doing?!” Lol I had been giving all my power and focus to diabetes, obsessing about numbers, fearing foods, focusing on how I was failing to get this reversed, chasing external answers.

"Good grief…what you focus on you get more of, I teach this everyday." Something I knew and used in the rest of my life, but not this. Why? What was I afraid of? I was feeding the very thing I was trying to heal.

That day I did a reset. Followed by the reframing of how I think about my Type 2 Diabetes diagnosis; some soul searching about why I was stuck, and I really listened to my body and my mind. Magic Happened!

I then shifted my coaching process to this one topic, hours of research, classes and divine input created the tools and methods myself and many others use today.

My A1C went from 10.9 to 7.2 in 10 weeks! Then down to 6.4 the following 8 weeks! And continued to drop slow and steady! I feel amazing, and yep, I even lost some weight~bonus!
